Abstract: Background: The major pathogen of Alzheimer’s Disease AD is the imbalance of amyloid-β production and clearance in the central zone of patients’ brain. This situation weaknesses the capability including memory cognition and daily self-care ability. Even through most of clinical trials of new drugs and immune therapies were failed from 2005 to 2018, behavior interventions presented well. However, the mechanism of applied behavior intervention on AD remains unclear. We employed the sleep cognition behavior intervention on AD patients.
Materials &Method: Sever AD patients with cognition impairments were enrolled. The sleep cognition behavior intervention SCBI was performed via professional rehabilitation expert not less than three months on patients. While the we did the cognition assessment at the end of SCBI 1months, 2 months and 3 months.
Result: The cognition assessment of patients presents much better before the SCBI.
Conclusion: SCBI may slow down the cognition decrease speed and improve the daily self-care capability in some degree.
